It is happy to announce that Oréll participated in the 15th International Asia Association of Computer-Assisted Language Learning (AsiaCALL) 2017 conference as one of the main sponsors. The conference took place from November 24-26, 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City Open University, which is located in Vietnam. The main theme of the Conference was “CALL in Asia and the World: Innovative Scholarship, Practical Solutions, Enhanced Sustainability”. The conference was attended by more than 500 delegates around the world with the objective of the conference was to research the opportunity to use information technology in teaching English. The directors of Oréll, Mr. Abubaker Usman and Mr. Saji Varghese attended the three day conference. A stall was also put up to meet and greet visitors and to promote iTell Digital Language Lab software. AsiaCALL is an international professional and research association based in Asia. The conference was founded in 2002 by Professor Dr. Larry Chong, from Gyeongju University, with the theme "Information Technology and University Instruction in Asia". The conference was hosted in conjuction with Chulalongkorn Univeristy, Bangkok. From then on, AsiaCALL is hosted annually in various countries like China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. The event received the Affiliate Status with IALLT (The International Association for Language Learning Technology) in 2011.
